SCIENCE IN THE SUMMER
The Carnegie Science Center will be conducting a 4-day educational program in science. The topic will be bio-science with microscopes as the focus. The program was designed for children going into grades 3 thru 6. It is scheduled to run for 4 consecutive days starting on Monday, July 19th. Each session will last one hour from 5pm until 6pm. This is a free program but limited seating is available so stop in or call the library at 724-274-9729.
SPECIAL SUMMER READING PROGRAM
There will be two special reading programs.
The first is a reading of the book "Mr. Grumpy's Outing." This will be on Thursday, July 15 @ 6pm. This will encourage children to participate in dramatic play using pictures, sound, & movement.
The second is a reading of "Down by the Cool of the Pool." This will be on Tuesday, July 27 @ 1pm. This is about dancing farm animals.
Both programs are free but we do ask you stop in or call the library so that you can be registered to participate.

8th Annual Library Night @ PNC Park. Tuesday, July 20, 2010. Pirates vs. Milwaukee Brewers. Tickets are $8. Visit the library for an order form. All orders must be received by June 29.
